Why I created this family-owned business

I created Survivors city because I found it challenging to find the products I wanted to use when would go hiking or camping, especially on one site.  On top of that I see many changes in our country and feel we need to be able to more self-reliant. My husband and I live on 23 acres in Florida. We are just starting to homestead. We are raising our own chickens, quail and pheasants for food. We plan on getting a cow in the very near future as we just cleared the land for the pasture but haven't fenced it yet. We also plan a fall garden. we presently live like nomads in an RV as we wait for our house to be ready. I personally would love to live off the grid, but as we all know that is almost impossible with the need for electricity. We do however have a well and are on septic.   I find that many of the products cross over from primitive camping to basic survival gear to emergency preparedness.
